Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), otherwise known as the Global Goals, are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
When leaders lead, the followers are expected to be the watchdog in ensuring that their leaders do not act unchecked.
Submissive silence should be unacceptable in followers who desire a good leadership as witnessed in my LCDA (Agboyi Ketu), where not even constructive criticism as Mayor seems perfect.
Great leaders hold themselves to higher standards of scrutiny and accountability to the people they lead.
As a forum and followers, it’s high time we demand good leadership, transparent and all-inclusive government, achieving sustainable developments, starting with our representatives especially at the grassroots level.
Without followers, there is no leader, vice versa. And we the masses have the weapon to choose between sustainable development and otherwise.(United in Diversity)
