Many people believe the coming of Jesus Christ is nearer than chances of a revolution ever taking place in the country.
Social-political observers like Mr Tunde Jakande managing director of L G News Academy, believes people frustrated by the system would rather commit suicide than unite and fight the system.
The oligarchy seem to have completely engraved religion, ethnicity and politics in the mental consciousness of the average Nigerian such that they can” NEVER” unite to fight a common cause no matter how adversely It affects them. Self preservation is on everyone’s mind.
This is why every evil that could have sparked a revolution have been done over the years and nothing happened. A presidential election won clearly was cancelled, countless reports of massive corruption and theft of trillions of naira, nepotism in government, a crippled economy, millions of out of school children, poverty headquarters of the world, highest unemployment figures in the world etc. Nigerians can and will take anything than unite and stand together. Those that cannot now kill themselves. Leading a revolt in this country is like setting oneself ablaze to provide light for a blind people.
