The announcement was contained in a statement issued by Engr Olufemi Daramola , the General Manager of the Lagos State Public Works Corporation( LSWPC) early today.
To prevent recurrence of August 4 experience on the last week Sunday rehabilitated failed sections by Mile 12 inward Ketu, Kosofe ,where road users spent between 8 to 9hurs to get to their final destination . The public using Mile 12 to Ketu on Ikorodu Road on Tuesday 13th August, must plan their movement very well to avoid trauma traffic.
The general Manager of the LSPWC ,Engr Olufemi Daramola announcement reads “This is to inform the general public that the Lagos State Public Works Corporation will carry out palliative road work on Ikorodu Road from Mile 12 to Ketu on Tuesday 13th August. Consequently traffic will be diverted from the descent of the bridge to the service lane at Mile 12 from 6am Tuesday 13th to 5.30am Wednesday 14th August 2019.
