I do not think any individual or group should continue to determine who hold public offices. I do not think Nigeria needs strong individuals with monarchical instincts or orientation. Great and strong individuals leave indelible footsteps that inspire people to leadership not necessarily by directly evolving the emergence of core loyalists into public offices.
For real development to be activated, the will of the people must neither be manipulated nor restricted . The people should not be afraid of individuals but of institutions. As academically this may seem, a society which wants to fully explore its potentials must throw its fishing net generally not specifically to sections of the sea.
I do not think names of people that have held public positions from over twenty or more years should still be vibrating.
No matter your contributions, the country is not getting better. The lives of people are not improving.
I really careless about what people think about my perspectives. All i know is that a new leadership free from the shackles of yesterday’s men must take charge of this nation.
A new leadership that owe allegiance only to the people, free from seen and unseen strings of manipulation. Men and women who are brave enough to collapse empires of deceit that have blinded the eyes and polluted the minds of the people to know difference between free choice and limited choice. A new leadership that will truly inspire young people to want to be good citizens. I may stand alone in my thoughts and aspirations for this country but i am embolden to speak my mind by the squalor and despicable lives a majority live in.
The question is simple. Do you have access to clean water? Uninterrupted power supply? Are the roads better? Is public housing better? Are graduates more knowledgeable today? These are some of the institutions that need to grow and become strong not individuals. I cannot blame anyone for thinking differently so No matter how much you disagree with me,
