The school over the years has been an eyesore and long abandoned. the degree of the dilapidation triggered different stakeholders in Agboyi Ketu to petition the Kosofe Local government Education Authority (LGEA) through the Agboyi Ketu Ldca Chairman, Mayor Dele Oshinowo.
The development led to separate visitation to the school by Mayor Dele Oshinowo led administration and the legislative arms led by Tajudeen Adeyemi to ascertain the environmental impact assessment of the school.

In further demonstration that When the People of Agboyi Ketu Calls, Mayor Dele Answers yesterday the Agboyi Ketu LCDA mobilised contractor to the school to commence the full rehabilitation of the school as promised geared towards providing conducive learning and teaching environment for management staffs, teachers, pupils and sustainable quality basic education in Kosofe.
