The gang war rather than abating in the last few months has now been turbocharged by different members of the Eiye and Aiye confraternities in the Oworonshoki area of Kosofe over a supremacy battle.
The clashes reportedly started on Wednesday till Thursday, where over 8 people were feared killed and several injured with the used of machetes and other weapons on each other.
Some residents Kosofe Post interviewed said its now a recurring development and government both at the local and state appeared helpless, will live in Oworo with fears, Adewale Ikuomoenisan said.

A property owner under confidentiality condition disclosed to Kosofe Post that if Government failed to protect the lives and properties of oworonshoki residents, I may put my house up for sale before they killed everyone, the landlady declared.
Mrs. Deborah a resident , told KP that she had began removing her properties pending the time she will gather enough money to seek new accommodation. adding that” though they are killing themselves not residents but oworonshoki community is fast turning to a place where children should not be brought up irrespective of the hardship and government appeared helpless to our plight.
