An injury or assault to a Nigerian outside the shores of this country for no particular reason can be perceived as an act of war and aggression to the nation as a whole. The Government should rise above the rhetorics of spewing out statements condemning the situation. This is a broken record. Drastic economic sanctions should have been announced and applied against that country by now.
The SA Ambassador should have been expelled from the country by now too.
When are we going to take the life of a Nigerian more important then proceeds we make from oil exports?
Government should do more than speedily endorse names of its citizens accused of fraud by the FBI and facilitate their extradition abroad for prosecution.
Ordinary Nigerians overwhelmed with frustration seem to have no choice than help themselves to a semblance of justice considering that over a thousand of their brothers and sisters have been killed extra judiciously in that country. This is no xenophobia, This is black on black hate crime. This is crime period.
South Africans are being taught and instigated by their leaders to hate and destroy fellow black skinned Africans .Their in action and luke worm attitude at prosecution offenders speak volumes. The real oppressors, the whites who control the wealth of the country are not harrassed. The average South African is nose led. I say this unappologetically.
Many are uncreative in business and are vulnerable to dictates of their oppressors.
This government should show it values the life of every Nigerian and take action Now.
