The latest development if truly they embrace true reconciliation might see the party stakeholders demonstrating symbiotic relationship rather than the usual war war that contributed to the party failure apart from the election funds mismanagement among other things.
Kosofe Post, contacted some PDP members to seek their opinion on their expectation from the ongoing reconciliation meeting.
A party member who is not authorized to speak under condition of anonymity said” the reconciliation moves is coming too late after party is almost empty as result of mass resignation by its members. Adding that its better late than Never , He urged the party to activate her disciplinary machinery against party members who are penchant for trading the party for few wad of notes.
Yemi O.A said’ we are expecting good outcomes from our apex leaders in Kosofe towards repositioning to the party to a winning ways.
Ibrahim Abiodun” PDP still remains the only leading opposition party in Kosofe. I urge the the reconciliation committee as they are reconciling the aggrieved old members they must also relate with other opposition outside and bring more stakeholders to jointly defeat APC in subsequent elections.
The next Congresses should be an open Field exercise rather than seating in one leaders room and be assembling incompetent executives, Michael Idiok stated.
Lateef Oladipupo, Kosofe PDP needs more than a leaders with a native intelligence in politics who derived gains from losing elections but strategist who believed in winnings than cornering election funds for personal interest.
All the people that went to APC are now almajiri begging for political offices up and down and what to keep body and soul together, forgetting that long list of committed and loyal APC members who labour hard for the party are yet to be compensated not to talk of the Johnny Just Come( JJC) squad. Remaining must know going to APC won’t be Rossy for them and the reconciliation committee must do all is humanly possible and bring back members who are interested in the party, Omolara Bolude.
