Kosalabaro: If my t strengthened me to be stronger and .” A recent visit to the bombing of Internal Displaced Person’s camp is not making me happy. We have left the itch to treat lgeprosy” .
Okebadan: Why are you taking Panadol for other people’s headache? That’s Federal Government problem.
Kosalabaro: I am not like you. I do not look the other way when my neighbour is suffering. This is Nigerian dilemma, because we always leave things to deteriorate to the very end from the bad roads that swallow our cars to badly maintained aircrafts that fall out of the sky like overfed birds. The most important of all basic necessities such as food is being carted away by the officials who supposed to cater for this people.
Okebadan: That is what make us unique in Africa. Every country has its own logo. You can’t have everything, we have good land, perfect weather but not too fantastic leaders and followers.
Kosalabaro: But where is federal government N58,790 billion raised by Jonathan administration to cater for the IDP’s Camp people?
Okebadan: Where is Jonathan that raised the money. _“Alfa jonà, onberé irumgbon é — Cleric was burnt to death and you are here asking for his beard.”_ Anyway, Jonathan has gone home to rest with Patience. And we need to exercise patient in order to locate this Jonathan’s money. It is not everything the eyes see that the mouth must talk about. Leave IDP’s matters to government people. I assure you this money is not lost. Be satisfied with my assurance. It will save you the pains of migraine and high blood pressure.
Kosalabaro: And I am allergic to the word ‘assure‘. It gets me all worked up and suspicious. I think they are hiding something on this IDP’s money.
Okebadan: I dey sleep.
Kosalabaro: You are always sleeping when it comes to daylight robbery by our leaders. What about certificate scandal of serving governor of Katsina State. Governor Aminu Masari claim of obtaining a postgraduate diploma in water quality control and management from Middlesex Polytechnic in the United Kingdom, was that false??? the school did not offer the course in the year Masari claimed to have obtained it.
Okebadan : I‘m actually sorry for Governor Aminu Bello Masari, because he’s a victim of the certificate mentality, which is like a plague in Nigeria. In this country, we tend to cherish certificate more than the ability to do something. This is why those who have read too much books, loves using “big grammar,” as we say in local parlance, see those who are not “educated ” or those who would prefer to speak plain English as less mortals. Considering that there is no guarantee that an original certificate will get you a job, why sweat for it? Most of the so-called real certificates have no NAFDAC number or SON certification. The ones that have are not worth the paper they are printed on.
Kosalabaro : What about Former controller general of custom certificate scandal, who also from Katsina State? What about President Buhari certificate that Atiku and PDP said is also fake. Don’t you think we need to check any certificate coming from Katsina State???
Okebadan: No certificate is fake unless the holder failed in his responsibility.
Kosalabaro So, your vote is for the fake certificate?
Okebadan: My vote is for expediency. Whatever works. But if the only way to get good job is through fake certificate In Nigeria, so let it be.
Kosalabaro: That sounds like the doctrine of necessity all over again?.
Okebadan: I dey sleep. You sound like a cyber terrorist. You must be among the wailers
Kosalabaro: Ok oooo. When you wake up let me know. See you next week Sunday!
