Following the giant strides made by Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, South West, Nigeria, within a short stay in office. The publisher of the Street journal Magazine, Mr. Wole Arisekola’s asked the Ibadan indigenes resident in Europe to invest in the state.
He made the calls through a statement made available to the media today.
Wole said “There is corruption in every part of the world-in South America it’s much worse than in Nigeria. You hear more about corruption when there is no prosperity. Corruption takes a giver and a taker. But corruption does not stop you from doing business. Of course, I am not saying that there is no corruption in Nigeria, but there is a lot we are trying to do about corruption in the public and the private sector- including punishing those who are caught.”
“As we are now blessed with an honest governor. In the person of Eng. Seyi Makinde. I’m begging you to
Come and invest in Oyo State. You can never regret it,” Wole pleads.
