- Sexual arousal is not readiness for love making
Over the years sexual abuse and rape of both the teenagers and adults by by men has always been the only trending and pronounced most reported news in our society . While the opposite sex of the same category; male violated are unheard off. However, during the midweek Stand against rape initiative (SARI) in partnership with Agboyi ketu Lcda, one day held sensitization programme on sexual abuse and rape against, boys, men between age 15 to 50 at he Mascara Primary Health Centre , Ketu, Kosofe, Lagos.
The programme attracted hundreds of mostly male from Agboyi ketu, Ikosi isheri and Kosofe Local council areas of the state.
SARI, gave chronological explanation of what constitute sexual abuse and rape to the admiration of the men in attendance. who are not aware they had been violated in one form or the other over the years.
At the exclusive publicity and awareness campaign programme the men were enlightened that been sexually aroused by a female; housewife, mistress ,Strippers, One night stand , and girlfriends respectively, is not an implied or expressly acceptance to make love with such invitation to treat gestures once the man said capital. SARI, added that a female undressing a male to the point of high degree of erection, forcefully insertion and penetration constitute a rape without the male consent.
Also, other form of rape is forcefully love making between man to man; Homesexually.
“Homosexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction, or sexual behavior between members of the same sex or gender. As a sexual orientation, homosexuality is “an enduring pattern of emotional, romantic, and/or sexual attractions” to people of the same sex” according to wikipedia. This is also applicable to the female from the opposite sex.

When a team of educator of SARI led by Aisha Musa was asked by the participants how easy its to establish rape against male after been violated.
Aisha , responded that though “it’s a big challenge but added that the” sensitization programme is to awaken the men to what constitute sexual abuses and rape and how to prevent it when such attempted is made towards them.
Moreso, Aisha said reported cases of sexual abuses and rape by many male will enable the organisation to observe and experiment the specimen collected from both the rapist and the victim in order to establish empirical evidence that might be useful in the future to apprehend the perpetrators among the female who refused to own up to the rape allegation.
