The Peoples Democratic party(PDP), candidate Hon. Sherrifat Olushola Hassan fondly called SOH demonstrates her party PDP slogan”Power to the people” by taken her campaigns to the grassroots.
Stressed she is not a lawmaker that based her campaigns on facebook, twitter, Whatsapp and Instagram because february 14, Polling booths and collation centers won’t be on social media on the day of election but at the electoral district in our streets, wards and constituency. She However, appreciates the effects of the social network services technology.
She enjoined residents of kosofe community if truly they want and prepared for change that they should visit INEC office or designated places to collect their PVC in few days time.
She told the gathering that she has painstakingly carried out research within the 10wards in kosofe so as to, know their problems and facilitate the solutions to the needs of the communities and also facilitate the completion of abandoned projects by the outgoing lawmaker.
I won’t come and meet you only when elections approaches but SOH constituency office will always organize town hall meetings with stakeholders to review development plans periodically. Mouthed by the Honorable.
She added “Together we shall fix kosofe together”she formally requested from the community heads, religion bodies, and community development associations, and other community based organizations to tell their needs to enable to do the needful when elected.
When you give me your votes and when elected I won’t put bull dogs at my gates nor put my constituency under locked and key or a showroom office she assured the gathering of over 1000 people. The Audience responded and interrupts her speech with thunderous applause for about 2minutes.
Speaking further, she stated she will facilitate Empowerment, employment, many social, economic, political growth and development for kosofe people irrespective of the political parties affiliations or groups either you are a Mandate group, justice forum, reunion or establishment or labour.
I am representatives for all, not PDP alone because”Nothing about us, without us”. She quoted.
While She was given practical illustrations on how she will bring uncommon transformation to kosofe and make impact in people lives, as the first woman to be elected before the Microphone was deliberately put off to censor her speech to prevent some foreign bodies from coding it.
And again political song was sang for her by stakeholders for her satisfactory and beautiful extemporary presentation. which goes thus;
Ao pade ni abuja nibi ao ko ni yara wa, ari ra wa, ayo mo ra wa….SOH nio se honourable wa.
Meaning together we shall meet in abuja, where we shall not separate, we shall see ourselves and rejoice with ourselves, Hon. Olushola hassan would be our kosofe federal house of representatives honorable.
