The deplorable condition of the road was earlier reported by Kosofe Post and equally brought to Governor Sanwoolu’s attention through its various official media handles because the road belongs to the state government, not Kosofe local Government, which was also collaborated in the interview granted to the media ,not kosofe post few months by the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government.
The bad condition of the road prompted the Kosofe legislative arm to embark marathan palliative measure by filling part of the failed section with concrete mixed that couldn’t stand the test of the time. Less than two weeks the ever busy road was filled everything washed away.
However, during week it apparently shows that Gov. Babajide Sanwoolu has finally picked the call of residents of Bush street, area of Kosofe as a team of Lagos State Public works corporation visited the Faramobi Ajike/Bush street for the on assessment.
The two man team were surprised when they visited early this week seeing some portholes filled already.
The development prompted them to make further frantic efforts to ascertain the person that carryout the excrcise under O.S. O Community Development Association, the residents disclosed it was Mr. Idowu Oluloro before proceeding to the councilor shop and equqlly assured the residents that the the road will be in the next few days.
On Saturday 11, 2020 the road has been graded, just awaiting the application of bitumen and asphalt while the campaction machine; ride on rollers, is standing by at the extreme end of Bush road.
The road is in the neighborhood of Kosofe local Government chairman, Sofola, when rehabilitated will give the council boss who had earlier lamented the rate at which residents bombarded him with calls and text messages, a big relief and concentrate more on local government roads in bad shape within Kosofe begging for attention as the rain subsided.
