If you are like me then you think about death often. I am always thinking about what will happen to my kids and wife If I suddenly pass. Everytime someone I know dies it makes me think even more, about our vulnerability to mortality.
When you begin to pass the age of forty then the alarm bell never stop ringing. The average life span in Nigeria is between 45 and fifty.
The long list of ways to die continue to grow longer everyday. Presently, there is more than a million ways to die. In Nigeria probably two million ways.
These include diseases, accidents(road, rail and air), death through kidnaps, police accidental/intentional bullet discharges, armed robbery attacks, domestic incidents, natural disasters etc .
This is why we must continue to make each day count. Let each moment be significant. Consolidate relationships with warm thoughts and words to one another. At the end of the day that is what will count.
Tell atleast one person ‘i love you men’. Dont just say though, show it, today!
