In what apparently appeared to be total ban of Okada in Lagos contrary to the claims that it was restriction in some few Local Government areas; the repeatedly clampdown on commercial motorcycles aka Okada in unrestricted routes in Kosofe as unfolds the government real intention without ambiguity.
In the last two weeks branch C in Kosofe of the Motorcycle operator Association of Lagos State ( MOALS) has been raided by the Lagos State Taskforce and Environment Unit. To ensure total compliance with Gov. Babajide Sanwoolu order, this afternoon, the Taskforce stormed the neighborhood of the Lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 1, Lagos State House of Assembly; Hon. Sanni Ganiu Babatunde Okanlawon under Branch B, Mende Maryland, Kosofe allegedly impound 10 motorcycles.

The repeatedly developments told caused the attention of the former Anthony Village councillor under All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Bayo Ogunsanwo, at the scene the Councilor insisted that mende Maryland was not among the restricted routes. However, his insistent attracted the wrath of the law enforcement officers who reportedly arrested and detained him.
As at 8:30PM when some of the affected operators chatted with Kosofe Post, Bayo is still been detained by Task force at Oshodi.
Efforts to reach the Kosofe Local government legislative Arm, leader; Hon. Olumide County over the dévelopment in his ward was not successful as at the time of posting this report. While the Lawmaker, Hon. Ganiu Okanlawon was yet to reply to messages sent to him by this online newspaper.
