The collapsed drainage on bush street, Kosofe
Third week of last month, Kosofe Local government took the lead in 2020 Budget preparation. Budget consultative meetings with selected Community stakeholders coupled with a swell time budget retreat was held in Ijebu Ode before the rude shock of late Ikosi Isheri Lcda, Mr. Abdulfatai Oyesanya, death that almost affected the exercise, Mr. Afolabi Sofola’s abandoned to pay last respect to Oyesco.
The outcomes of the expensive budget retreat yet to be made public. However, pending the budget estimation presentation to Kosofe legislative Arm under the leadership of Hon. Onayemi Olumide County, the executive Chairman of the council, who resides in the affected area, should also factor in Bush Street collapsed drainage system in the year 2020 Budget.
The Lagos State public works Corporation ( LSPWC) that specializes in grading, application of bitumen and asphalt has done a great job on bush street. However, the failed portion of the drainage system that cause series of accidents as result cars falling into the ditch should fixed by Kosofe local government to protect LSWPC lauded job.
Kosofe Constituency l, lawmaker , Mr. Sanni Ganiu Babatunde Okanlawon who reportedly facilitated the bush street rehabilitation and the Councilor representing the area, Mr. Oluloro Idowu, in separate response to Kosofe Post assured the collapsed will be fixed.
Recall before the reported drainage system Kosofe LG had earlier reconstructed some collapsed ones along the same axis except this very particular spot.

The bush Street drainage reconstruction will protect the newly rehabilitated road by State Government and prevent cars from falling into the big ditch on the major road.
