The longer a Lawmaker stays, the great the benefit
The seat is rotation between Agboyi Ketu and Ikosi Isheri LCDA
A week is a long time in politics talkless of 2023. Therefore, We painstakingly decrypted the non verbal cue, body language and expressly comments by supporters and promoters of Mr. Tunde Braimoh, representing Kosofe Constituency ll and the purported subsisting power rotational between Agboyi Ketu and Ikosi Isheri triggered the article titled “2023: Can Tunde Braimoh Break Decades Third Term Jinx in Kosofe ” that has since elicited a robust Online debates in Kosofe.
The masterpiece generated comments for about 6days among the concerned residents of Kosofe, who are Pro , anti Tunde Braimoh’s third term agenda.
Below are the few selected comments compiled by Kosofe Post

Hmmmmmm, he could, if my party is not ready. Tunde is a season politician and a giver.
Adebayo David Prince
WHICH GIVER.. HIS APC PEOPLE IN HIS CONSTITUENCY ARE COMPLAINING BITTERLY ABOUT HIM ….SO POINT OF CORRECTION SIR… Dele Segun Aroyewun.
Opomulero Olayiwola Sulyman
The question is does the opposition party have any candidate that can muscle him in personality, party support dedication, loyalty and most importantly does the opposition candidate have the financial strength to battle him?
Even if the APC gives another of it members the ticket and the PDP or other opposition field DANGOTE, the APC candidate will still win.
This people are super united to claim power even though they are divided in power sharing among themselves.
Ibrahim Babatunde Opadeji
No be only him be person wey dey Constituency 2
The Dynamics are changing. The longer a legislator remain in the hallow chamber the better for his constituents. If Mudashiru Obasa or Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila had been withdrawn on primitive excuses they won’t have speakers from their domains today.
Kosofe should refrain from begin again syndrome. We need to build a culture of promotion of excellence to the greater advantage of our collective elevation than shutting down our first eleven in the name and spirit of frequent replacements. Rather , more political openings should be created to admit other budding stars.
Iyabode Bolanle Olaoshun Fayemi Without mixed feelings, Hon Tunde Braimoh (olu omo ) buje budanu deserved another round (3rd term) a generous kind hearted man, he should paddle the cannon once more, we want him there again Big Daddy continue.
Obviously, he deserves it as he represents us creditably. Kosofe deserves a real Principal post in the State Assembly while Hon.Tunde Braimoh is a material to attract this.
AbdulWaheed Omotayo Odunuga
The question is “does he deserve 3rd term”? As far as I am concern the answer is Capital NO.
AbdulWaheed Omotayo Odunuga With utmost respect to all comments on kosofe post, the Yoruba adage say ” yinni yinni kalerimiran gba” Hon Tunde Braimoh as the lawmaker that is representing kosofe constituency 2, has been doing marvellous works in Kosofe @ Large.
With his personality as the lawmaker, he has helped more than 1000 people in his constituency to gain a permanent employments at various section.
Most of the pallative measure that is going in kosofe constituency 2 and also specifically I mention ogudu road was influence by his intervention and more are still coming, to mention few. I also challenge anyone that has any evidence of any constituency project funds giving to him, to come out with the evidence for appropriate questioning . Hon. Tunde Braimoh is a grassroot politician and political juggernut that appreciate his people in his constituency and also respect his political leaders and the party manifesto. He deserves more than 3rd term and he can adequately represent his people without any sentiment at lower and upper Chambers when the time call.

@ Adebayo prince, you did not have the clue or probably you did not do research very well before spreading this your corona virus deposition. I guess you do not know the elementary aspect of arms of government, separation of power, the function of legislature and the executive chairman… If you do ,that means all your argument are just mere fallacy of argumentum ignorantia.because as we speak Hon Olatunde BRAIMOH was just taken back to the same position he held successfully with many awards since he stepped into LAHA( I mean chairman committee on information.strategy and security) after he transformed the judicial ministry alongside with attorney general and other stake holder.
Secondly, if you are not familiar with all what he has done, I believe courtesy demand of you as a self acclaimed intellectual to quest for his bills and all other constituency engagement or information which he has perfectly perfected. However, I want to use this medium to challenge your person to bring out a politician that is more popular than our kosofe representative apart from the speaker of the house in the current house of assembly…Let me inform you, should you are? not properly informed Hon Tunde engaged the people he is representing in terms of welfarism and constituency engagement than all other members in LAHA. Pls, quest for more information before spreading unfiltered story.
Kosofe constituency 2 was shared between Agboyi-ketu LCDA and ikosi isheri Lcda. it’s Leader that can decide who they will give APC ticket to in 2023.
Sulayman Odetayo Much as the arguments for 3direct, such as legislative experience, stability, etc are well appreciated, are we ready to set the 3terms precedent in the constituency? Remember the constituency position is being rotated between Agboyi-Ketu and Ikosi-Isheri, so a third term for him means same will apply when it’s Ikosi-Isheri’s turn. What then happens if an undeserving candidate emerges therefrom?!
Aside from this, lots of qualified diamonds in the rough abound in our polity, so staying put simply disenfranchises such people the opportunity to show their mettle. Before any sychophant here starts spewing bile at me, let it be remembered that I contested the primaries against him, and will do it again and again, God willing till His will is done.
In the final analysis, I will always advocate for the best brains and most worthy candidates to emerge, rather than familiar faces, merit rather than mediocrity, performance rather than patronage, and contributions rather than connections. A speaker does not necessarily have to emerge based on longevity in the House, but on a whole lot of factors.
There’s NO jinx to be broken here. Issues of third term should not arise at all. I have watched with amusement the comments of those supporting the idea and come to conclusion that most of them have either benefitted personally in the past, benefiting now and want same to continue. Senator Mamora was one of the best senator in his time at the red chamber but was refused third term. Hon. Adeyeye was the Majority Leader in the Lagos House of Assembly but was denied third term. With all these precedent… what has changed in Kosofe Constituency 2 to warrant third term?.
The seat is rotation between Agboyi Ketu and Ikosi Isheri LCDA, it is the turn of Ikosi Isheri to produce the occupier of the seat in 2023.
The fact that Surulere Federal Constituency and Agege 1 has been represented by one person since 1999 doesn’t mean it is the right thing to do or should be the parameter on which on which such decision be based. Some people believed the fact that current occupier of the seat is generous to them is enough justification to go for third term does not hold water and we should be able to separate selfish interest from overriding public good. Technically Ikosi Isheri LCDA is short changed in the current dispensation. The Minister and Senator are from Constituency 1, the Commissioner and the occupier of the seat is from Agboyi Ketu LCDA. Bearing in mind that member of Lagos assembly representing Kosofe Constituency 2 also resides in Constituency 1. It’s on record that aspirants from Constituency 1 contested Kosofe Federal house of Representative primary election with the current representative knowing fully well that Constituency 1 has uninterrupted 16 years in the green chamber. 2023 is a long time but not so with politics and my candid advice to the current occupier of the seat is to focus on on delivery of robust dividend of democracy to the wonderful people of Kosofe Constituency 2. I honestly don’t think that the amazing people of Ikosi Isheri LCDA will give up our turn to be in Lagos Assembly come 2023.
