Following the hot debates that trailed the the source of ₦30M allegedly contributed by some local government Chairmen from Lagos East and the final amount distributed onbehalf of Sen. Adebayo Osinowo, later attracted snailly response from the Lagos East, All Progressives Congress (APC) LGA Chair of Chair, who also doubled as Ikosi Isheri Lcda ; APC LGA Chairman, Chief Loogun Jegede Oyekunle Sunday.
In his online reaction to the KOSOFEPOST, Loogun Jegede said” over 5000 benefited from the Sen. Osinowo Lockdown palliatives”.
He listed Party members, CDAs, CDC, Churches, Mosques, Artisans and others as the beneficiaries. However, the Lagos East party custodian was silent on the controversial source of funds and the total sum shared to the 5000 beneficiaries per heads to put the record straight.
Other unverified information from Ikosi Isheri lcda, Supervisory Councilor for Environment, Mr. Fatoki Kehinde claimed that Sen. Osinowo Personally donated the controversial sum and distributed accordingly.
In his contribution the Ikosi Isheri lcda, Secretary to the Local government, Mr. Dolapo Kazeem Bashru possited that logistics in distributing the money are some of the factors to be considered in the breakdown. Adding that the appointed coordinators are best in position to explain.
Sen. Osinowo Adebayo, Sen. Olugbenga Ashafa, Dr. Adeleke Olorunimbe Mamora, Rotimi Agunsoye, Tunde Braimoh, Prince Akintunde Abidemi, Prince Alebiosu Ademola, Dele Segun Aroyewun are among the stakeholders gathered by Kosofe Post, who provided cash gifts ranges from ₦1000 to ₦30,000 to the people to ameliorate the suffering of the downtown during this ‘Moment of National Emmergency” in Kosofe and beyond.
