It would be recalled this community online newspaper, the KOSOFEPOST earlier requested on it Microblogging platforms before the deadline lapsed asking about 200 CDAs in Kosofe Federal Constituency to email: firstname.lastname@example.org their various independent sponsored palliative measures to the residents beyond just being a courier distributing the Local and state governments Covid-19 stimulus packages.
The covid-19 pandemic further exposed inability of some CDAs to carryout community development programme, projects or stimulus packages due to failure of residents not paying developmental levies as constitutionally mandated in the act establishing CDAS. On the other hand, transpacy and acccountability of some CDAS heldsmen in some part of Kosofe ( Agboyi Ketu Ikosi Isheri) contributed to the rate of defaulters.
Also, several business owners and organisations making several millions refused to give back to their hosting community in form of corporate social responsibility during the Lockdown.
Regardless of the dues defaulters among the residents of CDA’S in Kosofe as a whole, Baker and New Odo Ogun Community CDA has shown like other promising CDAS their responsibility matrix to their domain worthy of emulation by others.
