Child advocate group in Kosofe; Child Protection Network (CPN), yesterday joined hundreds of others good Samaritans accross Kosofe by reaching our to widows, vulnerable and most needy in Oworonshoki, area of Kosofe.
Gari, rice and other commodities included in the food packages the group; CPN distributed to closed 100 persons in Kosofe.
The Chairman of Kosofe CPN, Alh. Rasheed Awofeso said the next phase will take place in other Communities in Kosofe.
His statement reads” It would be done in batches, charity they say begins at home, I resides in oworonshoki, the reason we commenced here today, next round will move to other community”
Speaking to Kosofe Post, on the challenges encountered raising the needed funds for the humantarian exercise he said” To access funds for humanitarian services is like when you want a camel to pass through needle’s hole; we approached some, they ignored calls, some attended to us, to God be the Glory, the few we got people still appreciate”
