The Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area Executive Chairman Princess Samiat Bada, recently purchased worth of 30 Million Official car damaged by commercial bus popularly known as” Danfo driver” along the Council Headquarter on Ikosi Road around 10:00 Am this morning on her way to the office.
A top Government official, who spoke to The Kosofe Post under condition of anonymity said it was horrible development. He said it was unknown to the commercial bus driver that Princess Samiat, was moving with convoy of cars an attempt to overtake the poll of cars resulted in a multiple accident that affected about 4 cars.
The source added that insurance will take care of the damages. However, said the people of Ikosi Isheri must give glory and thanks to God that no casualty was recorded. Because we loss our chairman, Engr. Abdulfatai Oyesanya few months ago.
Also, last week Agbado/Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Council chairman, Augustine Adeoye Arogundade died, barely few days after the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Alhaja Tawakalitu Abiodun Ayilara died after a brief illness. Therefore, We must appreciate God for sparing our chairman life.
The Ikosi Isheri Lcda, Head of Public Affair Units, Rabiu Hassan Abiodun, when contacted confirmed the development. adding that the reckless commercial driver has been handover to the police after his failed attempt to flee.
The Council Chairman has directed that all the damaged vehicles should be fixed by the commercial driver that no public funds will be used to fix it according to Mr. Rabiu Abiodun.
