Though Mayor Dele Oshinowo bear the same surname with the lawmaker with only letter “H” pronunciation difference but not related by blood as gathered but adopted as political son.
The Lagos East Coordinator of Babajide Sanwoolu Campaign organisation, Former SLG, incumbent Executive Chairman of Agboyi Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo is one of the observed, measured and confirmed promising young politician among the Pepperitto School of politics, whose rating surpassed other young people in governance.
No doubt he has some flaws on good governance. However, he is still far better than Dr. Babatunde Rabiu Osinowo, who has never been entrusted with public responsibility as small as councilor, whose professional practice has been called to question since he was dragged into the race on sunday by his promoters.

Power must change hand and there must be redistribution of wealth and qualitative representation if the silently operated mandate are truly sincere to themselves and its leadership have their ears on the ground to hear the drumbeat and chorus gradually becoming louder and clear” We can not worship father and worship son” (Ale sin Baba, Kotun Sin Omo).
Also, the thousand of condolence messages and visits following the death of the senator shouldn’t be taken as acceptability, popularity, support, endorsement for continuity and pure love for him.
Majority are political eye service’ Ojuaye’ because before his death some of them have shifted loyalty to the next emerging constituted authority in Kosofe following the developments from Bourdillon, Ikoyi and this is sufficient to discourage anybody from contemplating the idea of using Doctor as replacement.
Because whether alive or dead, politicians don’t let go easily when its concerns power and money; most importantly when they shortchanged themselves financially ( better known as erulaye).
Those promoting Rabiu from Pepperitto political dynasty must go back to their drawing board and look for another suitable replacement” if at all” anything pepper or Shehu will be given any consideration at the moment according the information our disposal.
Other young candidate apart from Mayor Dele Osinowo suitable for the plumb job is a successful businessman; Farm city Boss, Chief of Staff to the late Senator, Hon. Lanre Carew, with an impressive profile, who have spent several millions of his personal resource on the Senator and the party project than most of the politicians in Kosofe as gathered.
Carew, should no longer wait till Local Governments council will be dissolved next month or when their tenure ends in 2021 before dreaming big and aiming higher as a young prepared peoples representative.
Another young prepared potential candidate if the Osinowo Political family are truly agitating for not too young to run is; PDP 2007 House of Representatives candidate for Kosofe Federal Constituency, Member of Kosofe APC Apex body, newly appointed member, State Audit Commission, Hon. (Mrs) Kafilat Ogbara.
Her contribution to the emergence of the late senator can not be quantify from image and reputation branding, mobilisation, aggressive publicity and awareness campaigns strategy among others, are measurable impact she made in the build up to 2019 general elections and its remains indelible in the minds of keen political watchers in Lagos East.
The Ibeju Lekki Cum Kosofe Senator, Gbenga Ashafa, who was denied his return ticket as extended to his counterparts Sen. Oluremi Tinubu (Lagos Central ) and Sen. Solomon Olamilekan (Lagos East), should naturally replace the late senator without bringing army of new entrants in Kosofe indeed Lagos East on
Platform of APC to challenge who would be the Peoples Democratic Party Candidate after the party primary election.
His competency and qualitative representation is not in doubt but lack of internal democracy, where merit has being sacrificed on the altar of politics for incompetency among others reportedly cost him his ticket.
Though he has not shown any interest to come back but he is another diplomatic gladiator the people of the district must watch out for on the forthcoming Lagos East Bye Election.
The trio of Dele Oshinowo, Lanre Carew, Kafilat Ogbara are not too young to run, All seems well seasoned, boiled or smoked to step into Pepper shoe if at the famous team pepper will be given “one chance” again over their irreparable loss and to keep peperitto legacy alive.
