The New Agboyi Ketu Administrative Building
This is the second time since Local government dévelopments across Kosofe, particularly Agboyi Ketu Lcda under the Mayor Dele Oshinowo, will avail the public the necessary information rather than criticising blackmailing; publics and media over their frequently asked questions geared towards entrenching good governance.
The first of such was when a concerned resident quiry the cost of the monthly fitness walk disrupted by Covid-19 pandemic. The council then extended an invitation to the concerned individuals and this online media to come over and confirm the cost.
To avail the public the cost of the new built Agboyi Ketu Lcda Administrative building earlier appointment was scheduled for June 15, 2020, the sad death of Senator Bayo Osinowo the same date terminated the appointment
However, last week visit to the new building ‘Banking Hall’ for corporate governance revealed the cost implication of the édifice, which quality was observed from the commencement date.
The two storey building built in a waterlogged environment had about 48 points of pilling cost ₦130M according to the Executive Chairman of Agboyi Ketu Lcda under leadership of Mayor Dele Oshinowo during one on one chat with the Kosofe Post.
Oshinowo said that the new building was subject to approval of the state government appropriate MDAs; who have the power to review and approve the project design and cost implication before execution and implementation.
