The National Working Committee (NWC) screening panel of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have issued provisional clearance certificate to Alebiosu Sikiru Ademola and Dele Segun Aroyewun
on August 26, 2020, to participate in the party primary election to elect the flag bearer for Kosofe
constituency 2 Bye-election scheduled to hold in September.
The former Kosofe PDP LGA, organizing secretary, a resident of Ketu Alapere, Agboyi Ketu, area of Kosofe, and a top contender for Kosofe Constituency 2, House of Assembly ticket, Alebiosu Sikiru Ademola Adekoya have received over 12 petitioned written against him.
It has been reported that undisclosed petitioners have alleged that he does not reside in the community, not a stakeholder, and he’s an anti-party among others allegations.
However, the screening Committee Appeal panel have dismissed the petitions on August 26, for lack of merit.
According to Kosofe Post further findings unlike the PDP 2019 House of Assembly Candidate for Kosofe constituency 2, Hon. Dele Oluoje, who resides in Kosofe constituency 1 and contested in Kosofe
constituency 2. Alebiosu, is a landlord, who leaves off Church street in Agboyi Ketu and practices his politics in Kosofe Federal Constituency.
The other four Lagos East senatorial aspirants; Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi, Saidat Odofin fafowora, Babatunde Adisa Olanrewaju and Abiodun Oyefusi, were all cleared to contest the primary election of the party.
Alebiosu, Aroyewun are the two constants tussling for the party’s ticket ahead of the bye election billed to hold on October 31st.
