The Former Kosofe Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party organising Secretary, Prince Alebiosu Sikiru Ademola, has won Kosofe Constituency 2 House of Assembly ticket after defeating Dele Segun Aroyewun, at the Primary election held early today, September 5, 2020, at the party’s LGA Secretariat, Mile 12, Kosofe, Lagos.
Over 60 delegates were eligible to vote. However, Alebiosu Sikiru pulled 31 votes to defeat Dele Aroyewun, who scored 25 votes in the free, fair, credible and transparent election.
The Labour Party will conduct it’s primary election next week according to the party Chairman, Prof. Ifagbemi Awamaridi, who disclosed yesterday through phone conversations to Kosofe Post, in total compliance with 21 days notice to the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines.
Alebiosu, who emerged through a violence free election will contest Kosofe Constituency 2 Bye-election race with the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Femi Saheed, others.
