“So in the course of time Hannah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, saying, “Because I asked the Lord for Him,” (I Samuel 1:20).
The presence of Grace brings positive change. It brings productive results. No matter the year of nothingless, when the grace speaks, there will be a manifestation of God’s glory.
Hannah was known as a barren woman, while her rival Pelinner had given birth. She was so committed and dedicated to the service of God, not because of her condition but as her usual practices. For years, the grace to conceive eluded her until one day. She was visited in the temple by the grace of God.
Her predicament made her over reacted to the husband; she said, “give me my child unless I die”. Shiloh experience was a graceful experience. After many years of bitterness, in I Sam 1:18, “She said, ‘May your servant find favour in your eyes’ Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast”. May the grace of God locate you this week! Your situation has denied you of regular mean of living, grace shall visit you this week in Jesus name!
The process for conception was endorsed by God. “…Elkanah made love to his wife, Hannah, and the LORD remembered her”. (V.19) Grace brings someone to God’s memory. After many years of wasted sleeps, energy and time, that particular day, Grace remembered Hannah. This brought turn around to her family values and accorded her more respect among her mates. No matter the years of your waiting for specific miracles, God will remember you in the name of Jesus. The battle of many years was over, when Hannah gave birth to Samuel. I strongly believe that the next Shiloh convention will be a testimony period for Hannah. Grace will make your disgrace a laudable testimony in Jesus name!
