Reconciliation Committee: Commences sitting in Lagos East

The All Progressives Congress Lagos East senatorial District Reconciliation Committee Commences sitting.

The committee led by APC Lagos Central Governors Advisory Council Leader; Prince Tajudeen Olusi will sit for five days starting from Monday, July 5, at the Headquarters of
Kosofe Local Government along Ogudu Road area of Lagos.

The major task before the committe set up by APC Lagos State Chapter is to unite all the aggrieved chairmanship candidates that participated in the controversial primaries election in the senatorial District where the excercise reported inconclusive, no elections, violence or presumed winner names were substituted, among others.

For instance, The acclaimed winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in Amuwo Odofin local government in Lagos State, Dipo Olorunrinu, has sued the party over alleged substitution of his name.

Some of the aggrieved aspirants told The Kosofe Post that they decided to contest the primaries with incumbent chairmen, who want to re-contest and the outgoing ones that aspired to plant successor due to the fact that many of the outgoing chairmen are no longer popular, following their poor performances in the last four years and people yawning for change.

In the district, The Executive Chairman of Agboyi Ketu Lcda; Mayor Dele Oshinowo, Bariga Lcda, Kolade Alabi, Ijede Lcda, Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, few others returned unoposed as the party flagbearers for second term.
