Adeniyi Olabiran and Kunle Koya emerges has emerged as People’s Democratic Party (PDP)Kosofe Chapter Local Government Area(LGA) parallel Executive Chairman.
The Congress held on Tuesday, under peaceful environment at the party Secretariat along Ikorodu Highways, Mile 12, Kosofe produced Olabiran.
While Kunle Koya also emerged at another Congress held within Kosofe.
Olabiran who was backed by PDP Southwest Zonal Secretary, Hon. Rahman Owokoniran while the former Deputy State Chairman, Welly Hassan sponsored Kunle Koya.
Similarly, to the earlier impasse created by the PDP Ward Congresses that leds to major factions list Harmonization the LGA congress might follow the same pattern.
Recall Kosofe Post earlier reported that PDP members in Kosofe Constituency 1 demanded for the return of the LGA seat after 3 consecutive terms totalling about 12 years seat has been in Kosofe Constituency 2.
However, Stakeholders in Kosofe Constituency 2 based their arguments on Local Council Development Area arrangements to convass for one more term for Agboyi Ketu Lcda area in Kosofe Constituency 2. However, other factions said LCDA is unknown to the PDP constitution and the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
