Senator representing Lagos East senatorial District, Adetokunbo Abiru has jump-started Representation at the National Assembly.
Upto June 15, 2020 it appears Lagos East Senatorial District have no representatives in the National Assembly.
However, since Senator Tokunbo resumed office about 10 Months ago the present of Lagos East representatives at the National Assembly is more pronounced. He has equally covered what seems to be abysmal performance of his late Predecessor, Senator Adebayo Oshinowo.
A good number of Motions and bills has been sponsored by him unlike the past where none was recorded.First of its kind, Bursary Awards to 600 indigent students and Setting of endowment funds to support Education, Health, Tech, Entrepreneuers among others.

He facilitated the commissioned 4 Blocks of 40 Classrooms at Aga Primary School in Ikorodu, ongoing Construction of Mini Stadium- Epe, Three Blocks of Classrooms at Ajelogo Primary School, Agboyi Ketu-Kosofe respectively.
