Appeal to aggrieved Royal families in Oworonshoki Kingdom

Oba Kabiru Kolawole Ilufemiloye Adelaja Agbabiaka, the Osolo of Isolo, Lagos has reaffirmed Oba Elect, Prince Nurudeen Saliu endorsement, and appealed to aggrieved parties to embrace peaceful resolutions.

In the last few days, there were conflicting reports that Osolo of Isolo Oba Agbabiaka debunked his earlier endorsement of Prince Nurudeen Saliu as Oba Elect.


However, in a recent interview granted to Local media, Gbirin Leko n Dan monitored by The Kosofe Post maintained his stand to the processes that produced the emergence of Prince Nurudeen Saliu as Oba Elect of Oworonshoki Kingdom area of Kosofe Local Government Area, Lagos.
In his words, all that they’re saying is untrue. Agbabiaka noted the necessary stakeholders were in attendance, while the choice of Prince Nurudeen was agreed upon without any rancour or disagreement.

He gave a chronological background on why the choice of Prince Nurudeen was arrived at.
“All those in attendance witnessed all family members present, both the young and old, were present when the matter arises. Based on previously held discussions and current developments, we were left without any other options than to raise the hand of Alade Saliu as crown prince to ascend the throne of Oloworo of Oworonshoki, Elebo ll.”
He explained further that all sons and daughters of Oworonshoki Kingdom and all Children of Elebo’s graced the meeting, where after fruitful discussion the choice of Prince Nurudeen Saliu was agreed. He added, “Nothing has changed as I speak to you, Nurudeen Alani Saliu, Elebo ll is the one we choose,” Oba Agbabiaka reaffirmed.
The Monarch appeal to the Government to approve his nomination and make the necessary arrangements required of them to be done without further Ado.
Speaking further he appealed to aggrieved Royal families to work in Unity, peace with the Oba Elect noting that, “We are the same descendants, the same blood. Oworo is a big Community the Government so much, love.”
He admonished all sons and daughters of Oworonshoki Kingdom to calm down while attributing the emergence of Prince Nurudeen to Providence.
