Oloworo Obaship Stool: Court Adjourns To February 22

The Lagos State High Court has adjourned the legal battle for the Oloworo obaship stool till February 22.
The case was adjourned by Justice Oluyemi on Thursday, due to a freshly filed preliminary objection by the defendants.

The 1st Defendant, Oba Elect Oloworo of oworo,Prince Nurudeen Olalekan Saliu through their counsel challenged the competency of the suit filed claimants
The judge explained that the adjournment was to allow the court and the respondents to file their responses to the preliminary objection before the next appearance.


The Ajisegiri’s counsel, Chief Dr. Odunaya told our correspondent that they are still within the timeframe to file their responses to the preliminary objection filed by the Ist Defendant.

It would be recalled that this medium reported that Ajisegiri’s family dragged Prince Nurudeen Olalekan Saliu , the elect Oloworo of oworo, the state government and the state attorney general, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Kosofe Local Government over the attempt to install the first respondent as Oloworo of oworo.
