The Executive Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo has sworn-in Secretary to the Local Government, Supervisors and Special Advisers, who will assist him in running affairs of the LCDA.
The swearing in was held at the magnificent conference room of the Chairman’s office.
After administering the oath of Allegiance and secrecy, the chairman urged them to deliver on their mandate, stressing that they were appointed to serve the hospitable people of the LCDA.
Mayor Dele Oshinowo charged them to provide leadership that will spur the progress of the LCDA and help raise the living standards of the people.
On her part, the Head of Administration, Mrs. Sonate Adebanji urged the political appointees to work as one big family in strengthening the pace of development currently being witnessed across the nooks and crannies of the locality .
Delivering the vote of thanks at the behest of other appointees, the newly sworn in Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Yomi Ganiyu promised that the new team will provide maximum support for the council chairman to sustain the leading status of the council.
While the second citizen of the LCDA, Mrs. Folake Kayode will serve as the Supervisor for Education, the newly sworn in Supervisors were assigned portfolios; with Sunday Ogunbore (Health) , Alaba Saliu (Works and Infrastructure) , Peter Bamisaye (Environment) , Seyi Ikuejuyone (Agriculture and Community Affairs) , Tola Abubakar-Oyedele (Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation), Hagler Osakwe ( Sports)
The Special Advisers include Tosin Ogundipe (ICT / Infrastructure) , Mutiu Kalejaiye (Youth Affairs), Ebun Olayiwola (Education and Student Affairs), Toyin Oriyomi ( Primary Health Care)
