He made the remarks in his response to the recent court ruling that dismissed Ajisegiri’s case challenging the Elebo Royal family on the Oloworo Obaship stool.

He pointed out that the Ajisegiri petitioned the court over a land dispute rather than whether Elebo’s ruling house is the only recognized royal house in Oworosoki.

Unfortunately, the Ajisegiris approached the court not on whether the Elebo ruling house is the only recognized royal house in Oworosoki, but on a land dispute between the two families.

“The court isn’t a father Christmas, so it can’t give what has not been sorted for,” Prince Modiu Ashimiu stated.
