Sequel to the recent installation of the former Vice Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Hrm Oba Babatunde Saliu Elebo 2, as the Oloworo of Oworo area of Kosofe by Lagos State Government stakeholders, throngs of people thronged the palace to pay homage.

Oba Babatunde Saliu ascended the throne when the first elebo, Hrm Oba Bashru Oloruntoyin Saliu, joined his ancestor last August.

The legal case instituted by other families who are laying claims to the Obaship initially contributed to the delayed installation and official coronation of the new Oloworo.

However, the Lagos High Court last month dismissed the suit and affirmed the Elebo Salami ruling house as the family entitled to the throne.
