The Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos, Supervisor for Chieftaincy Affairs, Honourable Olubbenga David, buried father in-law, Hon. Simon Adeleke Onashile in style.
The funeral service was held on Friday at Our Saviour’s Anglican Church. His remains were interred at his residence at Husseine Kehinde Sofola Way, Ikenne Remo, Ogun State.
The reception that followed at Obafemi Awolowo Square attracted thousands of prominent personalities from Lagos, Ogun and other parts of the country.
The Honourable late Hon. Simon Adeleke Onashile was a former Secretary to Local Government in Ogun State during Awolowo’s era.
Guests in attendance include Kosofe Local Government cabinet members, Honourable Abayomi Olugbidin, Hon. Ganiu Oyebanjo, and others.
