A top campaigner for Kosofe Federal constituency House of Representatives aspirant, Abiodun Owokoya aka cheche, Deinde Shonibare, has appealed to aggrieved members.

Oladeinde, a businessman and politician, made the appeal to the stakeholders on Thursday while speaking to our correspondent over the phone.

“I would like to appeal to aggrieved aspirants and supporters to work with the winner of the primaries,” he said in the conversation.

“In any contest, there must be a winner.”

However, I am very proud of my choice of support in the person of Engr. Abiodun Owokoya aka Abbey Cheche.

“I have no iota of regret over my support for him. It was a privilege to identify with him during the process. I would gladly do it over and over again.”

His appeal message comes amid the looming internal crisis in the Kosofe Federal Constituency chapter of the All Progressives Congress as the party failed to set up a true reconciliation committee.

Despite the choice of the party candidate for the House of Representatives seat, Shonibare stressed that he was proud to have supported the Owokoya.

In his bid to represent Kosofe in the lower chamber of the National Assembly, he is geared towards providing quality and credible representation.

“Cheche has been with us for several years, supporting the party materially, morally, and financially, while some without value added to the party are getting elective or appointive positions.

“It’s a matter of conviction, and for all our teeming supporters and other volunteers who worked assiduously all the time on the Cheche Movement, God bless you all.” “I’m so proud of all of you,” he said.
