Popular human rights lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, on Wednesday, cautioned popular gospel musician, Lanre Teriba Atorise, against making unguarded utterances over a dispute between popular celestial pastor and founder of Genesis Model Parish, Prophet Israel Ogundipe Genesis, and Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi, the General Overseer of the Love of Christ Generation (C & S) Church.

He advised him to control his emotions, adding that “nothing under the law gives him the right to threaten anybody. A threat is a crime under the law.

“The law allows an aggrieved person to express himself or herself just like Genesis has done, but the law will jail a person who threatens another even if he has not carried out his threats. Atorise is well advised because if anything happens to Genesis negligently, Atorise has bought a case he did not pray for. The person to apologise in 24 hours so far is Atorise,” he said.

In a viral video, Genesis called out the Agboyi area of Kosofe born Mother Esther Ajayi over her unexpected actions while he was incarcerated some time ago.
