Olu of Agboyi pays ‘Thank-You Visit’ to Mayor Dele Oshinowo for success of his official inauguration

The Olu of Agboyi Kingdom, Oba Monsuru Oladega, has expressed profound appreciation to Mayor Dele Oshinowo for his wonderful contribution towards the success of his official inauguration ceremony.

The monarch, popularly addressed as Akinmasa 1, announced this during his thank you visit to the first citizen of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA at the council headquarters today.

Speaking on the importance of the visit, the monarch noted that the tour was to show appreciation to all individuals who supported the ancient town in its journey to ensure the traditional stool was not desecrated.

He further noted that the visit had provided an opportunity to ensure that the challenges being faced by the ancient town got the attention of the outside world .

Responding, the Executive Chairman of the Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, described the emergence of the monarch as an act of God.

The council boss further stated that the official inauguration of the new monarch will open a new chapter of development in the ancient town, stressing that with the rightful thoughts and conducive atmosphere for robust partnership, the ancient town may end up as the new Lekki corridor in the state.

Also speaking at the program, a member of Olu Agboyi’s delegation, Hon. Segun Ogunseye, commended the chairman for adopting transparency as the watchword of his administration.

The high point of the occasion was the presentation of a thank-you letter to the council chairman.
