The Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye, a member of the House of Representatives from the Kosofe Federal constituency, has joined the Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) as Assistant Secretary for Sustainable Development for Nigeria.
The other prominent Kosofe politicians in the diaspora on the recently revised list are Prince Bidemi Akintunde as Diaspora Coordinator and Prince Bidemi Akintunde as Member of the Diaspora Directorate.
Also, Social Democratic Party candidate for Kosofe constituency 1, Lanre Carew supporter, Samuel Olakanla, is shortlisted as a member of the public affairs unit.
The Kosofe Post reports that the earlier list was withdrawn following a strong worded letter to its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman, Senator Adamu Abdulahi, ordering the immediate withdrawal of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
