The APC UK campaign council has appealed to Nigerians in diaspora to return home and vote for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the 2023 general election.
The Executive Member, Diaspora Directorates -Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign council , Prince Bidemi Akintunde , spoke recently at Walsall, Birmingham, United Kingdom, during a symposium organized for diaspora members.
He said, “If you are here in the Diaspora and you have your PVC, I appeal to you to try as much as possible to make sure you go to Nigeria to cast your vote.
“This was the sacrifice Nigerians required of you. This is the sacrifice you can make if you think you love Bola Ahmed Tinubu and you want him to be president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Try as much as possible to go to Nigeria to cast your vote.
“Aside from that, we need to speak to our people back home, our family, and our friends to come out in their numbers on election day to vote for Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima to spare and to lead the ship of the country to the greater Nigeria we all desire and the Nigeria we are all striving for.”
He further urges them to speak to family members to ascertain who among them has PVC cards.
While emphasizing voter sensitization and the benefits of electing a capable and competent president, he also assured them that there would be incentives for Nigerians with PVC.
