Yeye Yetunde-Bush Alebiosu death is a test of faith- Odogbolu Chief Imam

The Chief Imam of the Odogbolu Muslim Community in Ijebuland, Alhaji Abdulmojeed Adebayo Abdulhameed, has described the death of Yeye Yetunde-Bush Alebiosu as a test of faith.

The Chief Imam said this on Thursday while speaking with the Kosofe Post at Ebony Vault and Gardens, Ikoyi.

He said, “Well, this is one of God’s deeds. God has promised in the Qur’an, Chapter 2, verses 155–157, that any believer, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, should check the Qur’an. Particularly verse 155 ascertained that And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient on faith.”

2 Vs 156: “Those who say, when afflicted with a calamity, ‘We belong to God, and to Him we shall return.

2 Vs 157: Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is they who are rightly guided.”

Alhaji Abdulmojeed, who is also the imam of Ajao Estate Mosque in Anthony Village, Kosofe, Lagos State, urged the bereaved family to give thanks and adoration to God for the test.

“May God give them the heart, faith, and iman to bear these very deep losses and to give them steadfastness in faith to give praise to God, keep on with life, and be doing what is righteous,” he said.
