As the 2023 general election is a few weeks away, arguments and counterarguments have continued to trail the purported pact of the Social Democratic Party and the All Progressives Congress in Kosofe.
The Kosofe reports that the SDP candidate for Kosofe Constituency 1, Lanre Carew, has been industriously campaigning for the constituency seat while campaigning for APC presidential, governorship, and senatorial candidates.
He branded buses, designed fliers, and produced radio jingles to promote the APC-SDP coalition.
Careful gestures have elicited many cheers and jeers from APC members.
The development has attracted hundreds of aggrieved APC constituents to the SDP.
Meanwhile, no official announcement has been issued by APC on the widely assumed coalitions.
The incumbent lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly on the platform of the APC, Hon. Sanni Ganiu Okanlawon, Lanre Carew of the SDP, and others will contest the constituency seat next March.
