ZAZUKA International Ikorodu shows interest in LASG partnership to empower Youth

Founded on the 13th of August 2018, Zazuka International commenced full operations in July 2019. known as Promise Farms to those residing around the Imota axis of the Ikorodu division, the company is envisioned as an Agro-tourism center, positioned to engage the youths and redirect their focus toward agriculture.
With over 15 hectares of land space, the agribusiness is set to offer both processing and affordable distribution dealers a cooperation scheme.
Registered under Zazuka International & Company, the enterprise is funded by Nippon International.
The farm produces Livestock including; Goat, Poultry-layers, broilers, cock, and turkeys plus Fisheries. It also nurtures chicken reproduction and raises goats, sweet corn, pepper, Pawpaw, and other farm produce.
The ranch according to the general manager, Dr. Okagwa Promise, is structured to harbour both the crop category and eco-tourism expanse for fascinating activities.
Engaging Ikorodu News Network (INN) for sightseeing through its various units, Dr. Promise said that the venture is poised to change the narrative by using agriculture to stimulate rural community development and enhance usefulness through its produce.
He continued, “We want to make the youth see agriculture as an attainable profession to invest in by yielding environment-friendly products”.
“Our goal is to ensure that we produce nothing but organic farm produce which is key to preserving the health and vitality of the people”.
On partnerships, Promise Okagwa spelt out the brand’s interest in collaborating with the Lagos State Government to further enlarge the enterprise.
“Farm business is lucrative and proposes a lot of opportunities to everyone”.
“We’re interested in partnering with the Lagos State Government in both subsidies sales and youth empowerment programs”.
Additionally, Dr. Promise noted that the enterprise will embark on a 2023 training and retraining of jobless youths, giving them the capacity to start their own business within the sector.
“Prospective investors, even the working class are also unrestricted to enlist us either in the poultry, crop business, fish farming business and the structuring of a teaching center for advance learning” he affirmed.
He concluded by appreciating the Executive Governor of Lagos State, H.E Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State Honourable commissioner for Agriculture, Abisola Ruth Olusanya, for making the state agric-friendly.
He similarly praised the Ranodu Of Imota-land, HRM, Oba Mudashiru Ajibade Bakare-Agoro, for ensuring the undertaking thrives in a conducive and serene environment and recounted the support of Mr & Mrs. Chidi Eze Okoli.
Zazuka Farm is located along Emuren road and is overseen by Dr. Okagwa Promise, A Ph.D. holder in agricultural resources and environment, conferred traditionally as Otunba FESOGBOYE 1 OF Imota-land.
