Remi Odunsi Oluwalogbon commends ‘Senator Abiru Mukhail’ for ‘National Productivity Week’

Sunday, February 12th, marked National Productivity Day, but my visit to Senator Abiru’s Innovation Lab (SAIL) the day before, Saturday, 11th, took productivity to another level.

Stepping into that space literally shifts your consciousness physically and psychologically. For all you know, you are in New York, San Francisco, or any major tech-driven city in the world.

Beyond partisan campaign and camaraderie, it was apparent we have a man with a growth mindset at work in Lagos East District.

If I was to give a ‘National Productivity Day’ award, Senator Abiru definitely tops the list because, indeed, that is where productivity starts from – ‘The Mind.’

Based on the structure of SAIL, it is inevitable that Senator Abiru’s goal is not just to teach young people tech skills, but to show them that they can do anything and be anything regardless of their location.

SAIL is clearly a project set to broaden the community beneficiaries thinking and show them that anything doable in any country can be replicated anywhere else, even in Nigeria.

My favorite illustration of ‘Productivity’ is a metro train vs. a bullet train, and the SAIL is definitely a bullet train. It drives productivity at its highest level by bringing people out of their immediate mental environment and shifting their consciousness through sight.

Every mind that comes into SAIL sees and believes that it is possible to DREAM BIG and DO GREAT starting with themselves, which would then extend to the family, the society, and the world at large.

With great respect and admiration, I acknowledge Senator Abiru and his numerous impactful works as Productivity indeed.

I am deeply impressed by his innovative contributions to governance, which demonstrate a commitment to progress and growth for Lagos state and Nigeria as a whole.

I am confident that his continued service during his second term in office will result in continued positive impact and growth.

Once again, I celebrate a man of honor and the entire ‘Abiru’ team.

How did your week go; was it ‘Productive’?
