Kosofe, Lagos, Nigeria – On the occasion of International Mother’s Day, the Chief Executive Officer of Eridan Group and All Progressives Congress former aspirant for Kosofe Federal Constituency, Mrs. Remi Odunsi Oluwalogbon, joined the world in celebrating the remarkable contributions of mothers. The event saw the participation of several prominent personalities, including Kosofe Lawmakers-Elect, Council Chairmen, and members of royalty, alongside journalists.
May 14 is recognized worldwide as International Mother’s Day, a day dedicated to honoring the essence of motherhood and the bond between mothers and their children. The celebration extends across different regions, such as Nigeria, India, the USA, Canada, Europe, China, Australia, and Japan.

Expressing her thoughts on the occasion, Mrs. Remi Odunsi-Oluwalogbon emphasized the indescribable power, beauty, and heroism embodied in a mother’s love. She extended heartfelt Mother’s Day wishes on behalf of The Remi Odunsi Organization.
Prince Adeoye, in his Mother’s Day message, quoted the Prophet (PBUH) who stated, “Your Heaven lies under the feet of your mother.” He highlighted the importance of treating one’s mother with utmost respect and kindness, as emphasized in Islamic teachings. Citing a narration, he reiterated that a person’s mother holds the highest deserving of good treatment.
Prince Adeoye further noted that major sins include associating partners with Allah, disobeying one’s parents, committing murder, and bearing false witness. He emphasized the significance of honoring and respecting mothers in the Islamic faith.
Bilesanmi Abayomi, Publisher of The Kosofe Post, shared a personal sentiment, expressing that International Mother’s Day held great significance as it provided an opportunity to remember his departed mother, whose nurturing and caring presence had played a pivotal role in his life. He also extended his warm wishes to his wife, daughter, and all the phenomenal mothers around the world.
