Lagos, Nigeria – Senator Tokunbo Abiru extends warm congratulations on behalf of the good people of the Lagos East Senatorial District to their esteemed leader, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on his inauguration as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Senator Abiru also extends his congratulations to Senator Kashim Shetimma on assuming the position of Vice-President. Furthermore, he acknowledges and congratulates Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and all governors sworn in today, expressing hopes for greater economic and socio-political development in their respective states.
In a heartfelt message, Senator Abiru states, “On behalf of the good people of the Lagos East Senatorial District, I heartily congratulate our esteemed leader, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, and his vice, Senator Kashim Shetimma, on their swearing-in as the 16th Nigerian President and Vice-President respectively.”
Senator Abiru expresses his optimism for a new era of progress and prosperity under President Tinubu’s leadership, saying, “Asiwaju, I am optimistic that our dear nation Nigeria will experience a new dawn under your watch. Nigerians will once again walk with their heads held high as you and your team get to work in your quest to deliver on the renewed hope mandate.”
The Senator also extends his congratulations to Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, as well as all the governors who took their oaths of office today. He prays for their tenure to herald greater economic and socio-political development in their respective states.
