Lagos, Nigeria – Hon. (Chief) Kehinde Ayobode Fatoki, Supervisor for Environments at Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area in Kosofe, Lagos, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to his esteemed mentor, Chief Bisi Akande, on receiving the prestigious National Award of Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR).
In a personal statement released in Lagos on Tuesday, Hon. Kehinde Fatoki expressed his admiration and described Chief Bisi Akande’s recognition as a well-deserved honor. He acknowledged Chief Akande’s outstanding qualities and contributions to the political landscape of Nigeria.
Hon. Fatoki’s statement read, “The conferment of the National Award of CFR by the former President of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari, on my dear father, mentor, and leader, Chief Adebisi AbdulKareem Akande (Baba Akande), is a well-deserved honor. Chief Akande is a distinguished political icon, known for his honesty, transparency, discipline, knowledge, and visionary leadership. He is one of the respected and pragmatic national leaders of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).”
Expressing deep admiration for Chief Akande, Hon. Fatoki acknowledged his remarkable political achievements, including his tenure as the former civilian Governor of Osun State, where he delivered excellent performance. He also highlighted Chief Akande’s role as one of the founding fathers of the APC, which led to the successful ascension of the party’s candidate to the presidency of Nigeria. Furthermore, he recognized Chief Akande’s instrumental involvement in the recent presidential electoral victory, which saw the emergence of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).
Hon. Fatoki continued, “Baba Akande, you are part of the history that has installed two Presidents! Indeed, we are very proud of you, sir. I pray that God grants you good health, longevity, and wisdom, particularly during this period of President Tinubu’s new administration. May your wisdom ease the challenges of leading our beloved country, Nigeria, to the promised land. More national honors await you as you continue your selfless service to humanity.
