Introducing Akintunde Bidemi Oludayo – A Man of Distinguished Paths!

Prince Akintunde Bidemi Oludayo, nicknamed “Stainless,” was born in 1975 to the prestigious families of Dacosta/Animashaun in Lagos and Akintunde Okanrende in Iperu Remo.

Though his parents were Muslims at the time of his birth, he now practices Christianity and goes by the name Anthony after his baptism.

Prince Akintunde’s academic background includes a BA (Hons) in Business Management from Arden University in the United Kingdom, a Level 5 Diploma (HND equivalent) in Health and Social Care Management from the London School of International Business, and an OND in Business Studies from Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic Zaria. He completed his secondary education at St. Anthony’s Grammar School in Ijebu Imushin, Ogun State, where he obtained his SSCE.

With an unparalleled wealth of experience, Prince Akintunde has successfully navigated through various national and multinational corporations, organizations, and conglomerates, achieving remarkable accomplishments. His extensive expertise has propelled him to the pinnacle of his career, having risen through the ranks in different sectors.

Currently, he leads a team of 40 staff members in the Health and Social Care Industry in London, United Kingdom. Previously, he served as a Finance Administrator/Controller for Damcon BV, a Dutch company based in the Netherlands. He also held the position of Head of Operations at Asper International Trading in Amsterdam. Additionally, he advanced from an Operations Officer to Assistant GM in the downstream sector of the oil industry at Heyden Petroleum Ltd in Lagos. Prince Akintunde has also worked as a salesperson for Nigerian Breweries Plc, a supervisor at Alarm Net at the Lagos State Secretariat in Alausa Ikeja, and briefly in the banking industry at Afribank Ketu, Lagos.

Furthermore, Prince Akintunde is a versatile entrepreneur, serving as the Founder/CEO of several enterprises, including TRT Media/City Gist in Holland and the UK, Bennekom Nigeria Limited, and Dotbury Consultant Services.

Prince Akintunde’s political involvement dates back to the early 80s when he accompanied his grandmother to UPN political meetings and rallies. Presently, he is an active member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward E, Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Kosofe LGA, Lagos State. He currently holds the position of Youth Leader in the Lagos East Senatorial District of the Lagos State APC UK chapter. He has also served as the Publicity Secretary of the APC Holland Chapter and is a bonafide member of APC Benelux.

Additionally, Prince Akintunde has played significant roles in political campaigns and organizations. He served as the Secretary of the APC Lagos State (Tinubu-Shettima/Sanwo-Olu-Hamzat 2023) Independent Campaign Council (ICC) United Kingdom Chapter, under the leadership of the Campaign DG, Hon Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu. He was the Chairman of the Tinubu Support Organization (TSO) Coordinators’ Forum in the Diaspora and the Europe Coordinator for Tinubu Support Organization (TSO Diaspora). Prince Akintunde was also a member of the Diaspora Directorate APC Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) under the leadership of Prince Ade Omole, actively campaigning for the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President of Nigeria. He participated in various campaign activities in support of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidency in the UK and Europe.

In Nigeria, Prince Akintunde was involved in the distribution of campaign materials, including 50 large banners, within Kosofe LG, Ikosi Isheri LCDA, and Agboyi Ketu LCDA. He actively participated in door-to-door campaign strategies and numerous constituency rallies. His dedication to the cause led him to participate in radio programs to promote the candidacy of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates in the Lagos East/Kosofe area. Prince Akintunde ensured that he cast his vote before departing for the UK.

Prince Akintunde’s political journey began in 2003 when he became a member of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) at Ikosi Isheri Lagos, showing his support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was then the Governor of Lagos State. He has remained loyal to the party, standing by it through its different phases of AC, ACN, and now APC.

In his quest for public service, Prince Akintunde contested for Councillorship in 2003 but chose to step down in favor of the party’s candidate, demonstrating his loyalty to the party’s interests. He played a significant role in the emergence of Hon. Kunle Soname as the first Chairman of the Ikosi Isheri LCDA.

In 2011, Prince Akintunde vied for the position of the Ikosi Isheri LCDA Chairmanship. Following the directives of his leader, the late Senator Adebayo Osinowo (Pepperito), he graciously stepped down for Late Engr. Abdulfatai Oyesanya, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi Isheri LCDA. Prince Akintunde actively supported Engineer Oyesanya during his first and second terms before his unfortunate demise in January 2020. Subsequently, Princess Samiat Bolanle Bada, the Vice Chairman, constitutionally assumed the role of Chairman of the LCDA, and Prince Akintunde continued to provide his unwavering support.

In 2021, Prince Akintunde once again contested for the Chairmanship position but was instructed by the party hierarchy and leader, Chief Busura Alebiosu (Baba Bush), to step down in favor of Princess Samiat Bada, who sought to return as the Council Chairman. As a committed party loyalist, Prince Akintunde complied with the directive and issued an official statement on May 8, 2021, affirming his support for the party’s choice. Princess Samiat Bolanle Bada ultimately emerged as the Chairman of the LCDA in July 2021, and Prince Akintunde remains dedicated to supporting her tenure.

It is worth noting that Prince Akintunde was 36 years old when he first contested for the Chairmanship position in 2011, and he was 46 when he ran again in 2021. By the end of the current administration’s tenure, he will be 50 years old, demonstrating his political maturity, sagacity, and extensive administrative experience, both locally and internationally, making him a highly suitable candidate for leadership.

There is no doubt that Prince Akintunde Abidemi Oludayo is the best choice to lead Ikosi Isheri LCDA. He has supported numerous candidates within his party, helping them achieve their political aspirations at the local, state, and federal levels. He has also provided direct and indirect support to numerous youths within the Ikosi Isheri LCDA, assisting them in reaching their goals. His commitment extends to actively supporting various party programs and events within and beyond Ikosi Isheri LCDA, both in Nigeria and the Diaspora.

Prince Akintunde is happily married and blessed with children, further reflecting his commitment to family values and his ability to balance personal.
