As the 10th National Assembly was proclaimed and inaugurated on Tuesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu leading the way, Abdulwaheed Omotayo Odunuga, the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency in the 2023 elections, has extended his congratulations to Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, urging her to uphold the principles of transparency in her new role as a House of Representatives member.

In a congratulatory message issued by Abdulwaheed Odunuga and shared with Kosofe Post on June 13, he expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Ogbara on her successful journey to the National Assembly. Odunuga praised her dedication, hard work, and the trust placed in her by the constituents.
“As you embark on this honorable journey of serving the people, I offer you my sincere advice. Remember that you are now entrusted with the responsibility to represent the aspirations and interests of our constituents. Uphold the principles of transparency, integrity, and accountability, as these are the pillars of a successful democratic system,” Odunuga emphasized.

Accessibility to the people was emphasized by Odunuga, urging Hon. Ogbara to actively listen to the concerns of her constituents, prioritize their needs, and proactively address their challenges. He emphasized the importance of advocating for equitable policies, socio-economic development, and overall progress in the Kosofe Federal Constituency, particularly in areas such as youth empowerment, education, healthcare initiatives, and infrastructural improvements.
