The Lagos State House of Assembly Correspondents Association (LAHACA) Chairman, Faith Adebola, and renowned Alaroye Senior Correspondent, was joyfully celebrated as he marked his birthday. Faith’s birthday celebration comes shortly after his victory in a closely contested election for the position of LAHACA Chairman.
In an election that saw fierce competition, Faith emerged victorious after a second round of voting. The initial election, supervised by the Nigeria Union of Journalists, ended in a tie with both Faith and his opponent, Barnabas representing a radio station, securing 14 votes each. However, the second election solidified Faith’s position as the newly elected LAHACA Chairman.
Among those who joined in celebrating Faith’s birthday was the online newspaper, Kosofe Post, which is renowned as the “news of the people, for the people, by the people.” Bilesanmi Abayomi, in a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the Kosofe Post, extended their warm wishes to Faith and commended his notable achievements. The message was echoed by friends, family, associates, correspondents, publishers, media consultants, and lawmakers across the state.
The Kosofe Post and its management described Faith as a humble, respectful, polite, and courteous individual, known for his dedication, hard work, and resourcefulness. They also recognized his caring and loving nature, noting that Faith is a jolly good fellow.
In their birthday wishes, the Kosofe Post expressed confidence in Faith’s leadership as the LAHACA Chairman. They wished him success in his role and hoped that his tenure would elevate the association to new heights, bringing smiles to the faces of its members.
